Hello World!

My name is Miranda and I teach middle school band, choir, and music history. I know, I have a lot on my plate. I also teach my band kids lessons after school Monday – Thursday. I also sell my teaching resources on Teachers Pay Teachers so that I can save another busy music teacher some time; because time is valuable.

I’ve recently decided to start a blog because I apparently don’t have enough to do, but I really just want to help busy music teachers in a larger way. I’m still learning a lot about teaching all the things, but why not learn from someone so that you don’t have to go through all the pitfalls and struggels yourself?

I also want middle school music teachers to have another resource for information because there are not a lot of us that are blogging and teaching middle school everything. I know when I started out and looked to the internet for answers it seemed like I couldn’t find anyone who would be in a similar situation to mine, so I felt like I was going into teaching blind.

I hope you find some advice, solidarity, and maybe some inspiration on this blog.
